  12. We have successfully compiled and installed XView3 (as from the X11R5 contrib
  13. tape) with the following patches:
  14. -rw-rw-rw-   1 smith    other      37426 Oct 19 07:54 xview3.diff.01

  19. The environment is USL SVR4.0.3 (Consensys) and X11R5 pl17 + XFree86-1.1.diff.

  21. Everythings seems to work fine but after a while the system freezes !?
  22. (The pointer cannot be moved av the X386 server cannot be restarted.)
  23. Only pressing reset button on the machine helps.

  25. Has the problem been observed elsewhere ?
  26. Are there any other patches that should be applied ?
