  10. Hi, Folks:
  11.      I've just installed the GUI development kit from Esix on my machine.
  12. I have a problem which I'm hoping somebody has seen before, and would send
  13. me the solution.  
  14.      I have a Tseng Labs ET-4000 video card and a comparable monitor.
  15. If I run the diagnostics supplied w/the video card (under MS-DOS) the
  16. sysem runs fine, even in 256 color 1024x768 mode.
  17.      Under Esix, using xconfig to define my hardware, this will not work.
  18. The only acceptable mode is 16 color 640x480.  If I define any higher
  19. configuration, the video is just blown away.  (The system is cycling
  20. along just fine, but I have to log in through the serial port and 
  21. shut the system down just to recover the console.)
  22.      I did not even load up the OpenLook disks, so this is just the
  23. motif distribution.
  24.      Of course, I would like to use my system to its fullest.  Does
  25. anybody out there have a solution?  Perhaps a reasonable opinion?
