- Well, what's wrong with that? Many people can't tell the difference between
- a 4 cylinder and a 6 cylinder motor. And I wonder why there are people who
- think that UNIX won't be UNIX anymore if it can be used by 'stupid' users?
- I mean, hide the ugly details but don't throw them away.

- Look at a video recorder. It's a complex thing inside, but you can't see that
- on the outside. There's even a cover for the 'difficult' functions so people
- aren't frightened by a plethora of buttons and functions. And it doesn't take
- an expert to get the thing to do what it is supposed to do. I can't sell a
- video recorder which requiers soldering to operate it, people don't buy that,
- even if it's more flexible. But we don't throw away the electronics by putting
- it in a cover, we just give it a nice cover for people who like that. People
- who like electronics are knowledgable enough to open the cover.
