- While on this SX-DX battle, I have a couple questions.
- What would happen if you bought a motherboard with coprocessor
- socket(Weitek?) and then bought a 487 coprocessor, and left the
- main CPU socket empty? My dealer said this would work, only
- this was about a year ago and I wonder if they changed that.
- The theory was the 487 disables the 486SX completely, so it
- ends up just being a lot of $$$ sitting on the board keeping
- its socket company.

- Another question, I currently have a 486DX-25. Is the DX2
- upgrade worth it? I not running any kind of u**x but have
- thought about buying a new HDD and getting Linux up.
