- This patch is obsolete with codriver (aka keycap-0.1.1.tar.Z), it has been
- obsolete since the first days of the 0.1.0 version and Helmut Michaelis'
-
- If there is a better way of doing this, then you guys need to make its
- presence better known! *Any* console driver that:
-
- a) Breaks Xfree86
- or
- b) Is not compatable with the main patch line (PL58).
-
- Is totally useless in my eyes, since I'll need to become responsible
- for a rather large 3rd party derivation or hack it around the X
- support code (or both). My patch breaks rule (b) but is at least
- small enough to keep adding back in and doesn't break X.
-
- When your driver is merged with 386BSD or at least completely
- compatable with the Xfree86 console driver patches, then I'll happily
- consider such hackery 'obsolete'. Until then, it's of no interest
- at all.
