- Apple has specifically stated that A/UX does not run on the IIvx, and (at
- least in my case) they stated it before the IIvx was officially on the price
- list. I have echoed this fact to comp.unix.aux in at least one and probably
- multiple threads. I know I have mentioned it in multiple threads, but I
- suspect some of those were in different usenet newsgroups.

- They also said that they have not committed to updating A/UX so that it will
- run on the IIvx. It's quite possible that the follow-on to the current
- version of A/UX (whatever that might be) will support the new hardware, but
- no firm dates were given for any such support.
