  12. Recently my aux 3.0 system has started losing things like document and
  13. program icons, and disconnecting aliases left on the desktop.  
  14.  
  15. Rebuilding the desktop seems to help for a day or two, then icons revert
  16. to their generic form and creating applications can't be found.
  17.  
  18. The system appears to work ok otherwise, and the only new inits are Applied
  19. Engineering's AE Shadow, and Suitcase II 2.0. (2.1.1 causes a prompt
  20. crash).

  22. Neither seems connected to desktop files, and the problem develops slowly
  23. enough that it'll be hard to find the culprit by elimination.
