  12. I just read in the Nov. 2 issue of Uniforum's biweekly newsletter that Apple
  13. has started an A/UX VAR program to encourage 3rd party software developers
  14. to port their products to A/UX.  It states that (among other things) Apple
  15. is offering a $6000 rebate to developers who buy three Quadras for their
  16. porting efforts from one of three approved resellers.

  18. The flavor of the article was that Apple was serious about encouraging
  19. developers to support the A/UX platform, and apparently has appointed a
  20. director to see that it happens.  The article itself was a half page long,
  21. about 15% of the total text of the newsletter.
