- I have a problem with the Command Terminal VT emulation. When a new window
- is created, then it is used to telnet into a VAX/VMS system and run EDT or
- EVE (editors), the keypad acts correctly except for the PF1 (GOLD) key. On
- the Mac extended keyboard, the key is marked "clear", and when you press
- it, it seems to refresh the entire desktop instead of sending the escape
- sequence for PF1.
-
- In order to stimulate the correct behavior, it is necessary to go into
- Preferences/Active Window Settings..., then press the Terminal Settings...
- button, then click on the keyboard icon, then OK out of all of the dialogs
- created by this process. After that, the keypad PF1 key acts normally.
-
- Is there a workaround for this?
