  13. We have run across a couple of problems with the 3270 emulation on AIX.
  14.  
  15. 1.  According to the documentation, when you telnet or tn to a system that
  16.     requires a 3270, it will use the $HOME/.3270keys.  We have never gotten
  17.     this to work...any ideas?

  19. 2.  We are using NCD 17cr X-terminals with VT220 style keyboards.  We have
  20.     redefined some of the keys in /etc/map3270 successfully (the pf keys)
  21.     while other keys refuse to cooperate.  For example, we define the 
  22.     keypad ENTER to be the enter key, and RETURN to be the newline key.
  23.     When we do this the keypad ENTER and RETURN act like a tab key.  Any
  24.     ideas here?  Here we are using the tn3270 command.

  26. And now the question...is there a public or commercial X version of a 3270
  27. emulator for AIX?
