- A remote /usr client has only ROOT parts of lpps/ptfs on it. Since
- root parts are very small, and a lot of the 3.2.2 updates don't have
- a root part, installing a remote /usr client will take considerably
- less time than a standalone.

- Basically, the server's /usr filesystem is exported to the client which mounts
- it, and the clients get all the root parts by using installp.

- The root parts of the lpps/ ptfs get applied during the boot time. Supposing
- you apply a new ptf to the server, you can get install the root part on
- the client by taking the following path in SMIT:
- smit installp
- Remote /usr Client Management
- Install/ Update this Client from Remote /usr
