- Just to be clear about 'fsck should not be run on mounted file
- systems'. If you do it, you will almost always get reports of a
- damaged file system. These reports are spurious and are caused by a
- mismatch between what is written on disk and the actual state of the
- file system.

- Since metadata changes not yet written to disk have been logged, the
- file system will be okay even after a crash, since logredo will update
- the disk image.
