  11. I have been having difficulty with uucp running on aix v 3.2 on my rs6000.
  12. I am using a PPI 14400 fxa modem.  Our local site calls up another once
  13. an hour to retrieve mail & news.  We are experiencing two major problems:

  15. About 50% of the time, after long file transfers, when the modem hangs up,
  16. it immediately goes to off-hook state and applies a tone to the line, remaining
  17. off hook until it has been powered down and up.

  19. I am plagued with tty overrun errors.  How do I tell the machine-modem uucp
  20. configuration to use rts/cts flow control.  Is the rs6000 lame-brained like
  21. the sun so that it can't do incoming flow control?
