- Try having the .login placed in the new user's $HOME exec another located in a
- central directory. This second .login can then proceed with the introduction,
- change the user's password, and put the regular .login into place. I used this
- trick while I was an administrator at my alma mater (OU) for several years, and
- from time to time I would use a variant for those users who would leave
- themselves logged in (an obvious security problem), giving them a warning that
- ANYONE could have deleted ALL of their files with no problem what-so-ever...
