- Doing 1-2 hours without a break is a no-no. I have mild carpal tunnel
- problems and have to take a short break (10-15 seconds) every ten
- minutes or so. During the break you should try to do exercises to
- loosen up the shoulder/neck area; arm and neck rolls for example.

- Mouse and keyboard placement are fairly critical if you want to avoid
- pain. Rather than go into it here, I've got a lot of info on
- repetitive stress injuries which I'll email if you're interested.
- Also, there's a new newsgroup called sci.med.occupational that
- exclusively deals with these issues. Anyway, the good news is that you
- can probably cure the problem with postural adjustments, more frequent
- rest breaks, and loosening exercises.
