- Hi! I've got a CM-5 monitor that was running on a Tandy 1000 (EX, I think).I
- recently ungraded this machine (well, I used the two drives that were on it),
- and since I don't have the $$ to get a new monitor, I thought "Hey! I'll just
- use the CM-5 with a CGA card." Unfortunately, this didn't work immediately.
- So, to the point: I need some information. First of all, is what I want to
- do possible? Standard CGA card -> CM-5. That's all I want to do.
- I'm hoping (and I sure hope someone will correct me) that the timing, etc are
- the same, and the pinouts are just different. If this is the case (and even
- if it's not), would someone please send me pinouts for this monitor? I'll be
- in really good shape if all I need to do is make an intermediate connector.
- I've talked to Radio Shack, and the only thing they knew was that I needed a
- "newer, higher resolution" monitor. Zero knowledge on the CM-5. Therefore,
- I'm wondering if anyone knows of a number I could call to get in touch with
- someone who *does* know.
-
- Please e-mail responses, as the mail *ALWAYS* gets here before the news! :-)
-
- Thanks in advance!
