  10. I have a Sun 386i.  We recently reloaded the OS (4.0.2).  The
  11. machine name is hobbes.
  12.  
  13. When I first boot the machine I can ping other machines as well
  14. as localhost and hobbes and hobbes' IP address.
  15.  
  16. After about 4 or 5 minutes I can still ping other machines and
  17. localhost.  However, I cannot ping hobbes or hobbes' IP address.
  18. It just times out.
