- The above comparison is a bet screwed since the EISA bus runs at 8MHz,
- you need 8M extra RAM, the PC has no ethernet, and since you are
- comparing a OS against a ROM monitor. The EISA won't expand > 16M (?).

- You would need to add a lot of money to get up to localbus or so and a
- Unix. BTW 14" to 15" is also a lot of money.

- Thus I _do_ believe Sun's claim here that they have a price advantage
- over the highend. Sticking with the above pricing I think it'll be
- a extra $1.5k price tag to get a comparable 486.

- Further, the above is a bit unfair in comparing a Gateway against
- a Sun. If we did (say) Compaq against Sun then things would look even
- better for Sun.

- I expect the SPARC cloners will do a good job of further dropping the
- price of Tsunami boxes. At that point we'll see options which sound
- like Gateway.
