- Are there any third party S-Bus Ethernet cards for
- SS10s that has either an AUI or 10base2 (THIN) port ? Sun's
- Fast SCSI/Ethernet card for SS10 ( part # X1053A) has only a
- 10Base-T port. Too bad that X1054A that has both AUI and
- 10Base-T, would only work in 600MP Servers.
-
- I just need to establish a subnet at minimum cost, to
- connect a couple of Suns and VME chasis. It is not a problem
- at all with SS2s since the second card has AUI/THIN port.
-
- I had to buy AUDIO/AUI splitter cables for the primary
- interface. Now just to have a small subnet I will have to buy
- the 10Base-T to AUI converter for about $200. I have several
- Suns like this and it would be much cheaper and easier if
- I could get a SS10 S-Bus card that has an AUI or THINNET port.
-
- I would appreciate any info by e-mail.

- Thanks
