  13. Your points are well taken, but what are the alternatives?  It appears
  14. the latest Sparc products won't run anything but Solaris.  Is OSF1 any
  15. less distasteful?  There's the 4.4BSD-on-Suns project; but then 4.4
  16. is rather different from the BSD we all know and love too; and it
  17. presumably won't run on the new Sparcs either.
