  14. I posted about this several weeks ago, and have received reports of
  15. similar problems but no solution.  
  16.  
  17. We have a SPARCsystem 370 connected to an Alphatronix optical disk
  18. jukebox.  The system runs as an NFS client and server, NIS slave
  19. server, and we have AMD 5.3 alpha.
  20.  
  21. In the past, under 4.1.2, we got seemingly random data fault and
  22. memory address alignment panics from nfsd and update.  We recently
  23. upgraded to SunOS 4.1.3, and we're discovering that mounting a certain
  24. optical disk will repeatedly cause the update daemon to data fault.  A
  25. typical error is shown below.

  27. We've tried talking to both Alphatronix and Sun, but are still
  28. awaiting responses.  Does anybody else have similar problems, or have
  29. any suggestions?  Also, has anybody else used Alphatronix products?
