- We have several Sun 3's here running Xkernel that have Type 4 keyboards.
- Now although at boot time they say they have a Type 3, all of the keys
- (F10-F12 and the special keys on the number pad) work fine. Here's the
- problem: I upgraded from R4 to R5 (and from Xkernel 1.4 to 1.5) and now
- none of the Sun 3's that reported having a Type 3 keyboard can use the
- Type 4 keys that aren't present on the Type 3 keyboard. Is there a fix
- for this other than getting new boot proms for all the machines?
-
- Thanks

- Opinionated and tunnel-visioned? Darn right. But then, my employer really
- doesn't know what I'm talking about anyway...
