  12. I am experiencing timeouts on uucp connections. The modems connect, agree on
  13. using 'g' protocol, and start transferring. But the connection fails with
  14. something like 'pkcget: Timeout waiting for SYN'. I don't have a log-file
  15. so this is from memory. After 10 such alarms, the connection gets dropped.

  17. I have had this problem with different modems ( a 2400 baud and Telebit
  18. T300). Host running SunOS 4.1.2.

  20. Could someone who has uucp and mail transfer going on onboard serial
  21. port offer to send me uucp-files, /etc/ttytab and sendmail.cf ? Please
  22. don't send me the files yet, just give me an offer, or I'll get swamped
  23. with mail....
