- The original question refered to fault tolerant platforms using sparcs.
- Stratus has used 68xxx (I think), currently uses i860's and plans to
- use a HP risc (again I am not certain). I am not sure what tandem uses.
- DEC planned a fault tolerant vax, I haven't heard if they succeeded.
- While we are at it Ericsson produces a hardware fault tolerent
- processor, though no-one has considered porting Unix to it. All of this
- is interesting but hardly refers to the original query.
