  23. As far as I can tell this has to do with the version of the DOS format  
  24. command you used.  We have had bad experiences with DOS 3.1, and Norton  
  25. Utilities formats, but DOS 5.0 seems to work fine.  I would guess that this  
  26. is a NeXTSTEP 3.0 bug, but I use DOS floppies so little I haven't bothered to  
  27. report it.
