  12. I am experiencing fan problems with my 1.2GB external boot drive and
  13. may have to take it out of service for a while.  What is the best
  14. strategy for maintaining a minimal configuration during its absence?
  15. I have a CD-ROM drive and a 105 MB internal (which is presently doing
  16. service as a swapdisk); when I ultimately receive 3.0, will I be able
  17. to boot from the CD-ROM, or is it possible (and preferable) to install
  18. the basic release on the internal drive?
