- We are installing 3.0 on a cube. We had been running 2.1.

- After doing an installation from scratch from a CD rom, the system comes up in
- single user mode. Usermanager doesn't let us do anything without root
- priveleges, but unlike the good old days, it doesn't prompt us for the root
- password so that we may carry on. On the other hand, some other next apps DO
- prompt us for the root password...
