- I too moved from a mac to a NeXT and missed the Spyglass
- apps.
-
- I have ported the NCSA HDF libraries (no big deal) to the
- NeXT and written an image viewing program. It is not the
- full suite of spyglass stuff, but it will show raw byte,
- raw float, HDF ris8 and HDF sds 2d files. It will also scale
- the image, show the pixel coordinates and value that you
- are pointing at, and give a histogram from which you can
- re-scale the image. It will open tiff files, but the
- histogram stuff needs to be debugged here. It will save
- tiffs as ris8 and vice-versa.
-
- If there is some interest, I can probably release it to the
- public domain,
-
- Let me know,
