Group III is the spec for how the image bits are transmitted between two
fax machines/modems. Class 2 is the spec for how the computer talks to
the modem (think of "AT" command set). They are specs that cover
two separate portions of the problem. Your modem probably supports the
class 1 interface spec and, therefore, can't be used with the NeXT.
