- Hi everybody out there,
-
- I have a little problem with making my own font paths with NeXTstep 3.0.
- Hopefully somebody could help me or knows somebody who can do it (at NeXT?).
-
- What's the problem?
-
- I want to place fonts in others directories than /NextLibrary/Fonts, /LocalLibrary/Fonts or ~/Fonts. So after making a new font directory and
- calling buildafmdir I changed the default setting NXFontPaths in GLOBAL
- (see GeneralRef). That works fine.
-
- if you open any font panel all fonts appears but only by there name. That
- meens I can select all fonts but if I try to preview them or want to work
- with them only the system default font (Courier) appears. :-(
-
- Only fonts placed in the dafault path work correctly. I guess either I have to
- change something else or this is a bug forgetting to adapt everything
- correctly.
-
- Is there somebody out there who could help me, also please send comments
- directly to me. Thanks ..
