  25. Put it on the network.  Have you had a look at one of the TCP/IP-Ethernet
  26. printer controllers.  Milan's is supposed to work well and I have used the
  27. one from Microplex with no problems though I no longer have access to it.

  29. These boxes are attached directly to the Ethernet and software is run on
  30. the CPU that has the controlling spooler to send files down to the box.
  31. Milan's boxes have one serial and one parallel port.  I don't know how much
  32. memory they have or the exact details on how they communicate with the
  33. spooler, but it's worth a try.

  35. They support Sun, and perhaps they could be talked into a NeXT port since
  36. Berserkley is underneath both.

  40. More and more printers are coming out with direct Ethernet connections, so
  41. maybe Tektronics will be there soon.
