  12.   Situation:
  13.        We are a university planning to create a data archive of
  14. our campus newspaper.  The newspaper is produced on a Mac network
  15. that will have ethernet.  Our campus network will have macs connected
  16. to a tokenring using (presumably) MacTCP-IP.
  17.        I'd like to create an archival storage volume attached to the
  18. newspaper system that would be accessed by users from the network
  19. using Fileshare.  
  20.  
  21. Question:
  22.    Does anyone know whether fileshare will handle the bridge between
  23. ethernet (10meg) and tokenring (4meg)?  What about security?  Does
  24. fileshare allow access to applications or is it simply access to
  25. read only files (admittedly the last a FAQ ):)
