- The man said he had a PowerBook 170 in his original post. I wish
- people would read more carefully before they respond.
-
- I am having slightly different problems, and they occur both on my Mac
- II at home and at my PowerBook 170 in the office. Word always took
- about half a minute or so to start up, but since I upgraded to System
- 7.1, MacTCP 1.1.1 and AutoDoubler 2.0 it takes more than twice as
- long.
-
- Fetch is another application that suddenly takes two or three times as
- long to start up. ResEdit exhibits the same kind of problem.
-
- Since I upgraded all three pieces of software at the same time, I
- don't know which (if any) is to blame. Also, at home I don't run
- MacTCP, but Word and ResEdit still take forever and then some to start
- up.
-
- Has anybody else noticed this?
