- 1) Thanks everyone for responding to my question re: free system
- software. General concensus is Apple's got it and I can ftp it,
- 6.08 and 7.0
-
- 2) Only one response as to whether I should upgrade to 7.0 He said do it
- One person (oops that makes two) did say it would slow me down. I dont
- like being slowed down
-
- 3) The discussion re: pricing on system software and apple's lack of
- support is beginning to sound like the olden days when Apple II programmers
- were grumbling about lack of apple support. Look where the II is now.
- Maybe Apple is following an IBM example.
-
- 4) I HATE what I've had to go through to find out about system software.
- I am angry at the way I was treated by this apple dealer. What if I
- knew nothing about this bulletin board?
-
- P.S. Should I upgrade. I've got some pretty old software. Will it be
- compatible. How MUCH will 7.0 slow me down? Is it worth it?
-
- Thanks again everyone who responded to me. I still haven't done the
- transfer . Too darn much to do
