  13. I'm not a Mac expert, so bear with me.. In a FoxBase application, I want to
  14. be able to select an output device, with the same effect as using the chooser
  15. from the desktop.

  17. It seems likely that I should be able to write an XCMD to do what
  18. the chooser does. Are there syscalls I can use for this purpose?
  19. In what part of Inside Mac are they hidden?

  21. Alternatively, is there another (better) way to poduce the same effect?
  22. I have written XCMDs but I don't want to get into device drivers or DAs
  23. very badly.
