- Although not a technical difference, the most important difference
- is that the SLM was done in house at Apple (while Dinker was an outside
- project) and that Apple has (sort of) standardied on the SLM as the "shared
- library" scheme of choice for the Mac. You will see future System Software
- based on the SLM.
