  12. I am posting this for a friend of mine who teaches home economics.

  14. She is looking for software for the McIntosh System 7 for a flat
  15. pattern clothing design class that can be used in grading patterns;
  16. that is, sizes.

  18. As I understand it, a dress is designed for a "standard size
  19. woman," and then the pattern is sized up or down.  For example, the
  20. standard design can be sized upwards for a woman who is six feet
  21. tall or sized downwards for another who is five feet tall.
