- We had the same problem with a large stack (1.4 MB). It seems that you have a
- corrupted stack, and that means your stack is pretty much finished. I don't
- think changing any script will help. I've consulted many people on this, old
- hands at HC, and even the Claris Tech support. Some say that if you found the
- card that's causing the problem (by flipping thru all the cards), then create
- a new stack and copy all the cards onto the new stack except the bad card (using
- a script), you'll be saved. But I don't think it'll work in most cases,
- because often the problem is not with a single card, but the entire stack.
- My advise is to recreate a new stack from scratch. OR, if you have kept earlier
- versions of your stack (when it was working), pull it out and copy all the
- cards to a new stack one by one.
- Some say that compacting a stack frequently will avoid the problem, but my
- corrupted stack was being compacted daily!
-
- Hope this helps.
