- Is there any problem connecting an HP Laserjet III (with a PacificPage
- PostScript cartridge that supposedly give LaserWriter IINT emulation)
- by it's (25-pin?) serial port to a Mac (IIci) serial (modem) port?
- I know there is a package to adapt the Laserjet III for Appletalk, but
- I don't really care to have it on our network (too many undergrads trying
- to print to every accessible printer on the face of the planet), but rather
- directly connected to the Mac.
-
- Also what about a driver ... can the standard LaserWriter driver do serial?
- or can it be modified to do so?
-
- Thanks for the help! E-mail and if there is interest, I'll summarize back
- to the net.
-
- Erik.
