  11. Is there any problem connecting an HP Laserjet III (with a PacificPage
  12. PostScript cartridge that supposedly give LaserWriter IINT emulation)
  13. by it's (25-pin?) serial port to a Mac (IIci) serial (modem) port?
  14. I know there is a package to adapt the Laserjet III for Appletalk, but
  15. I don't really care to have it on our network (too many undergrads trying
  16. to print to every accessible printer on the face of the planet), but rather
  17. directly connected to the Mac.

  19. Also what about a driver ... can the standard LaserWriter driver do serial?
  20. or can it be modified to do so?
