  12. I have just gotten a Powerbook 170 and I want to hook it directly to
  13. my desktop Mac IIci and transfer files back and forth. I know that the
  14. PB 100 can be hooked directly into the SCSI port of the IIci and it will
  15. be seen as an additional hard drive. But the manual says that you cannot
  16. do this for the 140 and the 170. This should be a basic feature of these
  17. computers, but it does not seem to be.

  19. My question is; what is the most efficient way to connect these two
  20. computers, with a minimum of extra hardware and software?

  22. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but perhaps some kind soul
  23. can post a synopsis of the methods discussed previously (if this has
  24. indeed come up before).
