- I have just gotten a Powerbook 170 and I want to hook it directly to
- my desktop Mac IIci and transfer files back and forth. I know that the
- PB 100 can be hooked directly into the SCSI port of the IIci and it will
- be seen as an additional hard drive. But the manual says that you cannot
- do this for the 140 and the 170. This should be a basic feature of these
- computers, but it does not seem to be.
-
- My question is; what is the most efficient way to connect these two
- computers, with a minimum of extra hardware and software?
-
- I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but perhaps some kind soul
- can post a synopsis of the methods discussed previously (if this has
- indeed come up before).
-
- Thanks in advance.
