  10. Our local Authorized {IBM, Apple} Dealer was selling a used PS/2 Mono
  11. Display 8507, which is a 19 inch 1024x768 greyscale monitor, for $300
  12. used.  I'm in the market for a bigscreen display and video board right
  13. now -- is there any NON-ACCELERATED frame buffer available that will
  14. work with this beast or something like it?  Not that acceleration is
  15. bad...  I'm just looking for low-cost and ease of support (since I'm
  16. doing operating systems development work now & don't want to write
  17. extra code just to put dots on the screen).

  19. Also, I'm seeing a lot about these 'Sampo Two-Page Dispaly/Video Board
  20. Combinations'.  Supposedly they were made for Hewlett-Packard -- are
  21. they any good?  Should I look for one of those or something similar
  22. instead?
