- These are two different monitors. The AppleColor and Performa Display +
- are based on the Sony CPD-1320 14" Trinitron tube. The Sony CPD-1304 is a fixed
- rate monitor which can be used only by an LC or an LC II. The CPD-1320 is
- multisynchronous, so it works with most (all?) Macintosh computers. I would not
- buy the Performa Display +, as I have heard a wide variety of quality problems
- with the new video curcuitry. The CPD-1320 isn't quite as bright, but has
- better convergence and lower distortion.
