- In regards to Mr. Paryavi's interesting post.
-
- First I am no mac guru, I had the monitor workingwith the 24L on a
- MAC II. Before I shipped the monitor, I put it on a computer that
- had a GS/CM radius card in it. (I opend the computer and read what the
- card said on it.) It displayedthe mac screen with out any difficulty
- whatsover.
- Second: I did indicate that I would send some monies to compensate
- for the crack which is about .5inch long and not very visiable.
- (ie when you are using the monitor you don't see the crack)
- And i would send money for half the shipping.
- Well I did have to wait for ups to send me the money for the monitor
- before i could send Mr. paryavi his money. It showed up yesterday.
- Third: I contacted Ikegami (to verify the information) and was sent
- the CD165VB-AF68 specs. I doubt that there is _NO_ board that would
- work with this monitor simply because there are TOO many boards for
- Ikegami to verify. Most likely it will not work with most boards.
- Fourth: Mr. Paryavi assumes that everyone has his time and access to get
- on the net. Unfortunatley some of do not have time to be on all day. Nor
- do we have the best connections. Whenever I was able to logon I replied
- to him.
-
- At this time I have a letter from him asking if i am going to give
- him his money back. Well, I answered him, That i would.
- It is expensive to ship big monitors back and forth and I had to make
- sure, I was not being taken for a ride either. (Unfortunately i was
- once in the past and it cost $75 in shipping)
-
- What I do feel is a poor judgement from Saiid Paryavi is before even
- mailing me with any intention of accusation he decided to demean my
- credibility on a very large scale. This says alot about the person.
-
- I had not at any time ANY intent of "FRAUD" as he fondly wants to call it.
- I did however have to verify his information and not fail school.
-
- Each time I recieved his mail I sent out a reply, but again i don't sit
- onthe computer. I get on about 2 times a week. Thats all the time i get
-
- Charles
-
- BTW: The people who sent me mail before I even knew what was going on,
- you just might have had a little patience before sounding off.
- One gentleman was kind enough to tell me that Paryavi posted a message
- which is the responsible behavior I would expect from Saiid himself.

- Actually, unix is a very user-friendly system. Its just that it is
- particular about which users it chooses to be friendly with. -The Oracle
- Programmers and programs alike need die gracefully upon failure, and exit with
- no system disruption.
- I didn't buy my Amiga 500. I BUILT it from the IC up.
