- I believe MacWeek had a story on this -- I seem to remember them saying that
- the U.S. concluded South Koreans were dumping memory chips below cost, so
- that some penalties were applied, and the price of 1Mb SIMM went from $29 up
- to $49. My memory could be hazy, since I do not have the article in front
- of me, but in essence the price rise involves trade dispute over dumping.
