- I'll speculate, but chances are that I'll be off- expect the "LCIII" (which
- will obviously be garnered with a different name than "LCIII") to be priced
- in two different scenarios:
-
- 1) Following current lineups- the "LCIII" could be priced right as it is
- now, or maybe $1399 for a 4/80 and $1599 for a 4/160 <speculation>
-
- 2) Based on what's rumoured for the January lineup, we may see that price
- higher, and new "Low End LC" filling the $1399 void.
-
- 3) Based also on what's rumoured for January, the price may be lower-
- perhaps $1099-$1199 in a 4/80 and possibly $1399 for a 4/160?
- <speculation>
-
- I have no real basis for this besides basing it on past Apple pricing and
- marketing, but Apple's marketing has been known to swing. Did you know
- there was another model slated for release in October along with the IIvx
- and IIvi, but marketing scrapped it at the last minute. (so the rumour of
- why it was killed goes).
