- I've worked with this system for a couple of weeks. Technically, it's
- really amazing because it has everything you want in it: all kinds
- of remote-control connections (RS-422, 232, SCSI) AES/EBU digital
- in/out etc. We were told that AKAI modified the ROMs of the drives
- to get it to work that fast. The only problem I've had was is it's small LCD-Screen.
- It gets really confusing to jump between all these sub-sub-sub-menus
- ;-) They also have a software program to control the unit from a Mac,
- but that isn't the last word in user-friendliness, either.

- Couldn't agree more. That's about the setup I would recommend to anyone.
- 128 MB gives you roughly 11-12 minutes of 44.1 kHz Stereo sound.
