- If you WANT to use stone-age software, then the Mac is not only overpriced,
- it's not even an option. On the other hand, if you recognize that the
- operating system and application software is a very REAL part of the
- equation, and realize that the higher price of Mac software subsidizes the
- development and maintenance of the BEST user interface in the world, bar
- none, and allows you to run the slickest applications (I have used Win3.1;
- I know whereof I speak), then the Macintosh is not overpriced at all.
- It's a bargain.
