- Recently I asked about how I could use a QIC-150 on my Mac and was
- told to get Retrospect. I did and it works great for backups and
- archiving. However, I would also like to use it to transfer files
- to and from a Unix system using tapes made with tar. Where can I
- find documentation on the interface to SCSI tape devices such as the
- QIC-150 so that I could even write a program to do it if I had to?
- It doesn't seem like it should be that hard, but Retrospect requires
- a special INIT (driver perhaps?) to even work with the tape device.
