- How much memory have you got in the SE? (Drive manufacturer claims problem
- may be that SE is ready to go before hard drive reaches functional speed,
- hence the hard drive is not recognized--maufacturer is sending user an init
- to cause SE's bootup time to be extended, thus giving HD time to get up to
- speed.)

- If you have more than 2.5 megs of memory, that must be one sllloowwww
- drive--most SE's I've seen with 4 meg of memory could give a glacier time to
- get on-line before they finish POST (Power-On Self-Test).
