- Do they have a utility to drive the 5FG at the 21" resolution
- and the
- 16" resolution? What is the dpi of the 5FG run at the 21" resolution?
- It should be better (i.e. larger) than other 16" monitors run at 21"
- because of the edge-to-edge image, right?
- ---------
-
- Yes, the utility does all the Quadra resolutions. By the way, they
- probably won't tell you this, but the extension does not require their
- monitor. It works on Sony, E-machines, Viewsonic, etc.
-
- The 5FG does have an edge-to-edge image, but it's edges are closer
- together than most other 16/17 inch monitors. There is actually
- more useable viewing area on, say, the Sony 1604 than the 5FG.
- I don't yet have an E-machines (should come in Real Soon Now), but
- I bet the useable viewing area won't be much different.
-
- I'm emailing this to you because I currently can't post. Maybe
- you can post this for me, in case others have the same question?
